Ustream Certified Compatible logoThe recently announced Creveo LiveShell is now available to order at Amazon.com. It connects to practically any camera or camcorder for broadcasting directly to Ustream over WiFi or wired ethernet and doesn't require a computer. It is the first product to be certified by Ustream and to feature the new Ustream Compatible logo (left).

Creveo LiveShell Battery CompartmentThe LiveShell has an HDMI input for importing audio and video from cameras with an HDMI port. It also features stereo microphone and audio line-in inputs so other audio feeds and/or an external microphone can be used. In addition, it has a composite video input for older cameras or camcorders. It is powered by an included USB-Mini A/C adapter or it can use three AA batteries for up to 3 hours of mobile usage. It can be powered even longer with the addition of a SANYO 5000 mAh eneloop Mobile Booster.

On February 9, 2012, Ustream announced new recorded video storage limits on free and Pro Broadcasting Ustream accounts.
